With today’s update we introduce fertilizer to CnC. We start with the slurry tank wagon Stapel VT 18000, which allows you to gather, transport and spread slurry.
We’re going to further improve the aspect of fertilizing. For example, we’re going to adjust terrain textures and the water level, simulate the filling process in more detail (like manual attaching and handling of the hose at the sewage treatment plant), the exact effect of the fertilizer on the soil and of course a set of new wheels for the slurry wagon.

BUG FIX: The bug in which the employee keeps on working after his task has been canceled has been fixed
BUG FIX: the player character no longer runs backwards too fast

CHANGE: Wind and weather controller as well as control of all the sky parameters have been reworked, e.g. wind direction and force. Clouds now move faster when fast forwarding
CHANGE: “GetReadyForTransport” – employees now put their vehicles into transport mode before entering road traffic (folding and shutting off of machinery etc.)
CHANGE: Attacher angle limits have been reworked and fixed
CHANGE: Digital signature added to the launcher, the problem with anti virus scanners should be fixed when installing launcher and CnC
CHANGE: vehicle performance optimized (CPU bottleneck fixed)

Mit dem heutigen Update führen wir den Wirtschaftsdünger ein. Hierfür fangen wir dem Gülleverteilfass Stapel VT 18000 an, mit dem ihr Dünger aufnehmen, transportieren und ausbringen könnt.
Den Bereich der Düngung werden wir noch weiter ausbauen. Hier werden wir z.B. Terraintexturen und den Wasserpegel anpassen, den Betankungsvorgang genauer simulieren (wie manuelles Ankuppeln und Bedienen des Schlauchs am Klärwerk), den genauen Einfluss des Düngers auf den Boden erweitern, und natürlich auch dem Fass neue Reifen verpassen.

We have news for those of you who want to participate in our server test run:

We expect that a week from friday (06.09.2017) you can download a testfile from our server with our launcher.

If you want to support the development of Cattle and Crops or upgrade your current pre-order-package you are welcome to do so: after we received a number of requests we increased the number of the package Season Pass 2 Years from 500 to 650. This includes the game as well all the DLCs that will be released in the following two years.

For those of you who want to exchange views about Cattle and Crops and other topics in our forum: We raised the number of characters for the user profile and the posts. We’re looking forward to your input!

The development of CnC goes at full pace. We are tuning the ingame content, enhancing the AI, decorating the maps and the village and working on the overall performance.

A piece of good news at the end: The latest driver update from NVIDIA fixed the graphic-bug that has caused a render error in the game.

Mit unserem Launcher könnt ihr voraussichtlich ab Freitag nächster Woche (09.06.2017) eine Testdatei von unserem Server downloaden.

Wenn ihr uns in der Entwicklung von Cattle and Crops unterstützen oder euer bisheriges Pre-Order-Paket gerne upgraden wollt, dann könnt ihr das natürlich weiterhin tun: wir haben die Anzahl des Pakets Season Pass 2 Years von 500 auf 650 Stück erhöht nachdem wir einige Anfragen erhalten haben. Die Entwicklung von CnC geht mit großen Schritten weiter. Wir schrauben am Ingame-Content, verbessern die KI, dekorieren die Maps und das Dorf und arbeiten an der allgemeinen Performance.

Noch eine gute Nachricht zum Schluss: Mit dem neuesten Treiber-Update von NVIDIA wird der Grafik-Bug behoben, der einen Render-Fehler im Spiel verursacht hatte.

you all for the constructive feedback regarding our Gameplay: Mission #1 video from last Saturday. Especially the comments about the automatic attachment of accessory equipment were stuck on our minds – despite the sunny Sunday weather – because it is an important topic for us as well. What we’re showing in our videos is not our final vision of a simulation, but rather the current development status. As you know, we want Cattle and Crops to be as close to reality as possible and improve the game continually with the help of your feedback. In the last video you just had to maneuver the tractor close enough to the equipment and could attach it with a keystroke immediately. Yesterday morning we had a little brainstorming session and were able, due to the good editor- and scripting options our engine provides, to integrate a solution into the game that enables manual coupling of machinery. We present to you the result in our latest devlog. All in all: alternative attaching-feature 50% finished We wish you a wonderful week!

What we have for you today is a new gameplay video and some new information.

The video shows a tutorial quest. This gives you a sneak peek into the gameplay of Cattle and Crops and what you can expect as an introduction into the Early Access. As devlog we go through the individual points of the tutorial mission. From the third track on, the AI, respectively the employee, takes over and handles the rest of the field.

We extended the roadmap last Tuesday. On the coming weekend we will have more updates, for example the new category ‘options’.

From the middle of next week on, our new Community Manager Matthias, alias Memphis, will, besides the customer support, also take on the moderation in our forum. As your direct contact person he will help you out, should you have any questions or problems. We will inform you next week about his contact data in the forum.

We had a bug with the last driver version 381.65 from NVIDIA, which we weren’t able to fix yet (see picture https://goo.gl/1bjByr). The newest driver 382.05 causes this render error in the C4 engine as well. We work at full speed to fix this and have also contacted NVIDIA. The bug is a nuisance but you don’t need to worry. There is the possibility to either reset the driver to version 378.92 or we offer a NVIDIA-specific workaround in the engine. This however would take some time and is our last means of choice. We will keep you posted.

Another topic are our servers. Before we make CnC available as download we would like to test, if our infrastructure can handle a higher number of simultaneous downloads with high bandwidth. We will soon send an email to all supporters and inform you about the date for the start of the test run. After downloading our launcher, you can download a test file using your access data. We would be delighted if as many people as possible could participate in the test run.

One thing essential for a good harvest is nice steady rain. But: no cow likes it if the straw gets wet thanks to a leaking barn roof.
We have successfully solved this problem and managed to bring in the hay safe and dry in time. Even during heavy rain the farmer can inspect his property in a dry driver’s cab. Take a look at our newest dev log video where we’ll show you the behavior of rain in Cattle and Crops.
